BUENOS AIRES — To celebrate the International Women’s Strike Day on March 8, thousands of women took the avenue Rivadavia of Buenos Aires to march from the national congress to the presidential palace to denounce the widespread gender-based violence in the South American nation.
Just like elsewhere across the globe and in more than 60 cities in Argentina, women called for decriminalizing abortion and implementing the “integral sex education law.”
